Inspired by the dark volcanic rock found throughout Utah’s rugged landscape, Basalt is a deep mineral colorway layered with charcoal, smoky gray, and subtle tonal variation. Its shifting depths capture the weathered texture of stone without appearing completely flat or solid.
Strong, understated, and endlessly versatile, Basalt can anchor a colorful project, provide striking contrast, or stand beautifully on its own. Pair it with nearly any shade from the Desert Essentials or Desert After Dark collections.
Each skein is dyed by hand in small batches, so slight variations make every one unique. When using multiple skeins, alternating skeins is recommended for the most even color distribution.
