Fluffy Doodle is a delicate mohair-and-silk lace yarn that adds softness, warmth, and a beautiful halo to any project. Use it on its own for an airy, ethereal fabric or hold it together with another yarn to create extra warmth, depth, and luxurious texture.
Best for: Lace projects, lightweight accessories, soft layering pieces, or holding together with another yarn.
Cloudiedoo
Weight: Lace
Fiber Content: [insert percentage]% Suri Alpaca / [insert percentage]% Silk
Skein Size: [insert skein weight] grams
Yardage: [insert yardage] yards
Cloudiedoo is a dreamy suri alpaca and silk blend with an incredibly soft feel and a smooth, cloud-like halo. Unlike traditional brushed mohair, suri alpaca creates a soft, flowing texture with beautiful drape and no mohair fiber.
Use it alone for a light and delicate fabric, or hold it together with another yarn to add warmth, softness, and a gentle halo without adding too much weight.
Best for: Sweaters, shawls, scarves, lightweight accessories, colorwork, and holding together with another yarn.
Choosing Between Fluffy Doodle and Cloudiedoo
Both bases add softness and a beautiful halo, but they create slightly different results.
Choose Fluffy Doodle for a light, airy fabric with the classic fluffy halo of mohair.
Choose Cloudiedoo for a silky, flowing halo, beautiful drape, or a luxurious mohair-free alternative.
A Note About Hand-Dyed Yarn
Every skein is dyed by hand in small batches. Slight differences in color and placement are natural and make each skein unique. If your project requires more than one skein, alternating skeins is recommended for the most even color distribution.
Colors may also appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings.
Yarn Care
For the longest-lasting color and quality, gently hand wash finished projects in cool water using a wool-safe wash. Avoid excessive agitation, wringing, and sudden temperature changes. Carefully press out excess water and lay flat to dry.
Some bleeding may occur during the first few washes, particularly with deeply saturated colorways.
