Desert After Dark

Inspired by the remarkable way Utah’s landscape changes as the sun sinks below the horizon, Desert After Dark captures the colors, textures, and atmosphere of the desert from dusk into night.

The collection includes six coordinating colorways:

• Juniper Moon — deep juniper green, teal, and midnight blue
• Rabbitbrush — golden yellow, earthy olive, and warm brown
• Salt Flat Sky — pale blue, silver gray, soft lavender, and delicate blush
• Desert Bloom — saturated coral, raspberry, fiery orange, and pink
• Red Rock After Rain — moody terracotta, burgundy, plum, and charcoal
• Milky Way Over Moab — dramatic navy, violet, turquoise, and pale starlit accents

Together, these colorways travel through shadowed junipers, glowing rabbitbrush, reflective salt flats, vibrant desert flowers, rain-darkened red rock, and the star-filled night sky over Moab.

Each shade is designed to stand beautifully on its own while coordinating naturally with the rest of the collection. Mix and match them for colorwork, fades, stripes, or a larger project inspired by your favorite corner of Utah.

Every skein is dyed by hand in small batches by Doodle Bug Yarn Co. Slight variations are part of the beauty of hand-dyed yarn and make each skein uniquely yours. When using more than one skein of the same colorway, alternating skeins is recommended for the most even color distribution.
